A Time to Remember, Reflect, and Honor

As we close out National Military Appreciation Month, Memorial Day brings us to its most solemn moment, a time not for celebration, but for remembrance.

At TEVET, this day is personal. We are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, founded by a Gulf War veteran and grounded in a legacy of military service that spans generations. For us, Memorial Day is not a long weekend. It’s a chance to pause and honor the men and women who gave everything in defense of our nation.

Throughout history, it has been our servicemembers, and their families, who have borne the weight of America’s freedoms. Their stories are filled with perseverance, integrity, grit, and sacrifice. And some made the ultimate sacrifice, laying down their lives so others could live in peace, safety, and liberty.

On Memorial Day, we remember the fallen. We think of the families they left behind. We reflect on the lives that could have been, and the freedoms their courage preserved.

TEVET will be closed on Memorial Day so our team can spend the day in reflection, with family, or in community. At 3:00 p.m. local time, we encourage everyone to observe the national moment of silence. It’s one small way we can stand together in gratitude.

To those who gave their lives in service, and the families still holding that sacrifice close — you have our deepest respect and lasting gratitude.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
